General Events

You will only book and attend events if you are a single person

If you attend an event that you should not have attended you may be asked to leave that event and may be refused to attend other events. In any case no refund will be paid by The Group

You agree to pay the event fee as indicted by The Group

If you book and pay for an event and fail to show, The Group is not liable to refund any event fee.

You shall always act in a friendly social manner while attending any The Group Event

Speed Dating events

By booking or registering for Speed Dating with The Group, or registering your details with The Group you hereby agree to these Terms & Conditions and you further represent and ensure that you have the right, authority and capacity to abide by all the Terms and Conditions.

By registering with The Group you provide your assurance that you legally allowed to register and or attend events.

You understand that Speed Dating is for Single people and that it is understood by your participation that you are single.

The Group reserves the right to check identification and to refuse any person from attending an event.

We are not a Match Making company and we do not guarantee that you will meet your match in any form and no refunds will be given.

The Group arranges events which provide an opportunity for single people to meet other single people in a safe, fun and relaxed environment.

We do not verify personal information of those participating at our events. It is your responsibility to verify personal details of others to your own satisfaction. Please treat any contact with participants at one of our events with the same caution that you would do when meeting other people you do not know.

The Group aims to offer participants 8 -12 speed dates per event but is unable to guarantee this quantity. Should participants for whatever reason not attend an event, numbers may be slightly decreased. By booking onto an event, you agree that neither The Group or any of its associates are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from participating in a Speed Date event.

This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with The Group. Such damages include, without limitation, emotional distress and discomfort, physical damages or bodily injury.

The Group’s events are held at venues which the company does not own and does not control. Therefore, in the event that you suffer damages of any kind at an event, you agree to release The Group and its associates from any liability with respect thereof. The Group reserves the right to change venue and timings of events.

By booking onto a Speed Date event or by registering with The Group, you accept that The Group offers an opportunity for meeting new people but that The Group does not guarantee that any participant at an event will successfully match with another participant. The Group does not guarantee that any meeting between participants after one of our events will be successful.

Although it is rare, The Group reserves the right to invite media to attend events, and participation in events is taken as your acceptance that your photo or image may be used within The Group marketing and publicity materials. This includes both online and published media.

The Group offers a email newsletters to members and periodically sends emails about new services, special offers, scheduled service interruptions, etc. Our members can opt-out of receiving communications from us by unsubscribing from our mailing list. To do so, simply send us an email or opt-out on the newsletter.
